     I understand that the cabinets I am ordering are custom constructed according to my measurements and layout. As such, I will not hold Do It Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. or any of its agents, owners, or employees liable for any error in my measurements or layout. Where Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. provides measurements and or layout, I agree to be liable for any information I provide as a basis for the work.

     I agree not to provide any measurements, information, design, or layout done by Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. to any other party, and I understand that this website and any other print materials provided to me are copyrighted by Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc., or Timberlake™ where specified. As such, I agree to use this information only for personal use in ordering my cabinets.

     I understand that by clicking "submit" on the order form, my order is not final, and I have only requested an estimate. My order will be final only on my approval of the revised order that is created when Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. reviews the submitted information to be sure the layout will work in my space. Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. agrees to check and review my order and contact me to make recommendations, if necessary. I agree that if I do not order any recommended fillers, panels, pieces, or accessories, I cannot hold Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. liable for any increased installation costs, or shipping costs to send the recommended pieces later, or any other costs, including for delay, arising out of my decision not to order the recommended pieces. If I provide only a list of cabinets, I agree not to hold Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. liable for any issues or losses that might arise during installation.
    If Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. works directly with my contractor or installer, I agree to these same terms and conditions with respect to holding Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. harmless for any damages or losses caused by my contractor or installer or their installation techniques. Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. will provide any requested installation specifications or directions to the owner or installer on request.

     In appreciation of the savings and multitude of options of ordering from a semi-custom just-in-time manufacturer, I understand that my new made-to-order cabinets are not returnable as they are not kept in stock in any warehouse and so returned cabinets cannot be used to fill anyone else's order. My order is a system of cabinets, fillers, panels, accessories, and moldings that are finished as I choose and then shipped to work specifically in my space, and once reviewed by Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc., and approved by myself, I understand that I cannot cancel any part of my order. Notwithstanding this, any cabinets delivered with a defect, or damaged during delivery will be replaced.

     I understand that work cannot begin until my certified bank check or credit card information is received, or my personal check is cashed, and depending on the number and complexity of cabinets, custom features such as increased or reduced depth, and whether hand-rubbed glaze finishes are selected, my order may take longer than the standard 2-4 weeks.

     Unless other arrangements have been made, I agree it is my responsibility to meet the shipping truck on the day and time I am given to "check-in" the order. This includes verifying that the ordered cabinets are all on the truck, and that there is no visible damage to the cartons or cabinets themselves. These cabinets are truck delivered by hand and cannot be left without signature and check-in by the purchaser or their agent over 18 years old. I agree to notify Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. immediately if I am unable to meeet the truck at the agreed time. I agree to be responsible for costs for multiple failed delivery attempts due to my late cancellation or non appearance at the delivery location at the date and time specified.
     In the unlikely event that items are missing from the shipment, or in the extremely rare case of shipping damage, I must have the driver write a note on the shipping documents describing the damage and I will notify Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. immediately - before the driver leaves if possible. I agree to unpack and inspect the cabinets within 48 hours for damage which is not immediately visible on the shipping carton, and to notify Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. at that time. I agree to inspect drawer slides, hinges, shelves, and other interior components within 48 hours, and prior to installation, as I agree that Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. will not be responsible for removal costs of cabinets with manufacturing defects once installed. In the rare instances of damage or manufacturing defect, I will be prepared to have the item inspected and to ship the damaged piece to Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. at no cost to myself.

     Timberlake's warranty info is available on request. There are no warranties that extend beyond those of the manufacturer. No warranty may be created or extended by any representative of Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc., nor is any warranty created by the contents of this website or any written sales materials. Do it Yourself Kitchen Cabinets, Inc. shall not be liable for any loss or damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential, loss of profits or other damages.
