Easy 3-Step Cabinet Design Process ... Step 1 - Choosing Cabinets by Wood
Maple Wood Cabinets
Maple is an extremely hard wood with a fine, even texture. The natural color of maple is a light to cream-colored sapwood. Although it is generally a bland wood, characteristic markings may include some wavy, curly, bird's eye or burl graining. Maple may also reveal mineral streaks and worm tracking across the grain when it is stained. These characteristics are a natural part of the wood and are not considered defects.
