Samples of kitchen cabinet layouts with our premium semi-custom cabinets
The corner of this kitchen layout is made dramatic by the varying heights of the wall cabinets. An appliance garage sits in the corner on the counter with a tall moullion-frame glass door corner cabinet above, extending flush to the ceiling with crown molding. The cathedral door style adds to the feeling of height.
The cabinet wall run to the right seems to float above a pass-through to the adjacent dining room, while under cabinet lighting sets off the accent picture over the sink.
This corner uses an appliance garage and the same tall corner cabinet with a solid door in a square style. Here the use of different heights is done with offsetting tops accented by built up layered crown molding.
Flanking the window are twin units composed of a side shelf, a short wall cabinet, and a plate rack. This allows for display / storage of china as well as accessories and knick-knacks on the shelves.
Note the use of tall moullion-frame glass doors and under cabinet stem glass holders to balance and reflect the window on the other side of this kitchen corner.

Here is another kitchen corner with a large tall cabinet mounted above flanking moullion glass door units. Again, the crown molding adds formality and these varying height wall cabinets compliment the base cabinets which are installed with varying depths.
Mounting a sink base a few inches further out than its neighbors creates a dramatic formal look. Fluted fillers topped with rosettes contributes to the look of this sink being mounted into a piece of fine furniture.
Note the matching panel on the front of the dishwasher.

Turning our attention from making corners the focal point, we now look at a spectacular island. This look was created by mounting wall cabinets back to back under a marble counter top. The reason to use wall cabinets instead of base cabinets in this application is to showcase the cathedral moullion-frame glass doors.
Pendant style lights over the island provide task lighting and add to the atmosphere of solid simplicity.
The white stone facade containing the vent of the stove compliments the white marble countertop nicely.

Here is a two-tier island which provides an extra sink, often used for preparation or vegetables. Note the use of door panels on the sides of the island to make it look more like a piece of furniture and less like individual cabinets.
This kitchen layout boasts a large floor to ceiling pantry to end the run next to the door. Note the use of interior lighting inside the glass door cabinets and the decorative valance over the sink.
Again, mounting at varying heights and crown molding add character to this kitchen cabinet layout by defining each cabinet and area of the kitchen.

This is an excellent example of how a kitchen cabinet layout of white Thermo Foil cabinets can add a light airy feel to a kitchen.
Again we see the tall corner cabinet and the differing heights, as well as the sink base being pulled into the kitchen. Door panels are used to finish one side of the layout while angled cabinets finish the other.
What really brings this layout together and makes this kitchen dramatic is the contrasting natural color molding on the bottom and the top of the wall cabinets and along the bottom of the base cabinets as a matching toe kick.

This elegant kitchen cabinet layout is achieved with rich spice finished cabinets and a contrasting dark countertop.
Unique here are the double wall cabinets with short cathedral glass over square doors. This adds showcase storage over traditional closed storage.
The whole custom built-in look is brought together by the use of matching panels on the refrigerator with a spacer panel extending to the ceiling above it.
Note that the two-tired island offers a sitting area to the side composed of a standard 12" deep wall cabinet with a rounded counter top.

This kitchen cabinet layout is notable for its island. The centerpiece is a wine cooler mounted out a few inches with panels used to finish the sides and blend it into its adjacent cabinets. These units require an outlet in the island, but are very convenient as they maintain proper temperature for both red and lighter wines at the same time.
Adding to the posh professional look are matching units on each side offering open storage. These are created with finished open shelf cabinets over shaker style cabinets.
On the far wall, note the stacked spice drawer cabinets next to an open-frame glass cabinet.

The centerpiece of this kitchen cabinet layout is a storage unit extending from counter to ceiling. It is composed of two stacked spice drawer units below a plate rack with a square glass door cabinet above topped with crown molding flush to the ceiling. A narrow vertical cabinet of spice drawers appears to the right of the dishwasher in the base cabinet run to balance the layout. (A third spice unit is out of view)
The orange wall color really emphasizes the oak cabinets and the area rug softens the ceramic tile and makes the kitchen feel like any other lived-in room in the home.

This cute kitchen layout is part of a light airy room with a flower pattern rug and yellow petal-colored walls.
Again we see varying mounting heights and panels used to finish the dishwasher at right. On the left, double wall cabinets add interest, as well as storage. There are four accessories mounted under the cabinets, two valances, and two under cabinet shelves which are perfect for easy to reach spices or knickknacks.
The wood-color countertop adds to the natural feel of this simple corner kitchen.

This country kitchen cabinet layout has all cabinets at even heights and depths, but interest is created with the use of valences over the sink and above the refrigerator.
The valance over the sink sits above an open space created by using a panel in the same finish against the back wall and sides of the cabinets to box-in the space. Panels also finish off the refrigerator door and matching door panels finish off the dishwasher.
A country feel is created with the wallpaper border above the cabinets, a green tile background, woven rug, and the curtains behind the moullion-frame doors over the sink.
